Episode 11
Beyond Access Control – Securing the perimeter of your principals defense | Lee Odess
Principals on the move are constantly entering and exiting spaces, making access control to safe spaces a top priority. Protective coverage now extends to ill will and ill health! If we don't understand the whole dynamic of how one system operates and integrates with another, we won't be able to communicate what we need to properly protect the client.
As protectors, we're responsible for 360 degrees of coverage for the client. Joining us on the show this week is leading industry expert Lee Odess who’s going to help us get to grips with this increasingly important subject.
In today’s show, we talk about:
- How we’re seeing a shift from access control to access care. But what does that mean anyway?
- The new parameters of access control have extended beyond the building and getting inside. So where are the new boundaries now?
- With a focus on the health status of people coming on site, personal protection is not just protecting the client from bad people. It’s also about protecting their health.
Because of the pandemic, access control has become flavor of the month, going from back office to front line! So, like it or not, it is now something you need to understand and be up-to-date with and on the cutting edge of.
As always, drop us a comment or leave us a review to let us know your thoughts.
